About Hatfield Law, PLLC

Hatfield Law was founded with a simple mission: to provide accessible, compassionate, and affordable family law services for clients who prioritize their families but cannot -- and should not -- have to sacrifice their financial stability to resolve legal issues. Unlike many traditional firms, we focus on unbundled legal services and predetermined flat fees, giving clients the support of an experienced attorney without the nickel and diming, hidden costs, and all-or-nothing representation models. Whether it’s drafting documents, preparing for hearings, developing legal strategy, or navigating mediation, clients can choose the services that best fit their needs and budget.

What truly sets Hatfield Law apart is the way we practice. We approach every case with empathy, understanding, and compassion, while valuing integrity, honesty, and accountability above all else. This firm is designed with both clients and family in mind—which is why primarily offer limited-scope and unbundled services, while taking on only a limited number of full-scope representation. Our structure allows us to provide high-quality support while maintaining balance and focus on what matters most: family.

At its core, Hatfield Law is about helping people navigate the sensitive issues of family law with dignity, clarity, and genuine care.

About Alexandra Hatfield, Esq.

Alexandra (“Ale”) Hatfield is a proud St. Lucie County native dedicated to guiding families through life’s most challenging legal matters. Her passion for law began early, as a student attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit Teen Court program while at St. Lucie West Centennial High School, and continued with a paid internship at a respected Stuart law firm.

A first-generation college graduate, Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude with a double major in Criminology and Psychology from Florida State University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University College of Law, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and received the CALI Excellence Award for "booking the class" of both Evidence and Business Entities. She also received course credit through a paid externship via NSU's family law clinic, where she assisted with actual family law cases under the supervision of her sponsoring attorney.

Her career, to date, has included the privilege of representing professional athletes in sensitive family law matters, managing a high-volume caseload of complex family disputes while litigating on the Treasure Coast, as well as conducting legal research and ghostwriting pleadings for other experienced family law litigators. Ale' has helped clients of all backgrounds achieve their legal goals with compassion and precision. This diverse experience gives Alexandra the skill and insight to balance the nuances of your family's traditions and values with the demands of the law.

Outside the office, Alexandra is a devoted mother to two young boys and a lifelong animal lover. She was recently promoted from "fur mom" of her mega-chonk (27lb) cat and beloved cockapoo (RIP Reggie) to "Boy Mom". Having two under two keeps her on her toes at all times! In her free time, (wait, what's that?) she enjoys fishing, experimenting with healthy recipes, working out, shopping, and playing with her babies. As a true sports fan, and a testament to her loyalty, she proudly cheers for the Florida State Seminoles on Saturdays and the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays.

At the heart of her practice, Alexandra believes that family comes first—and she brings that same commitment and empathy to every client she serves.
